My Plans For the Future

I believe philanthropy should be a part of everyone’s life to some capacity. For myself, I wanted to incorporate philanthropy and the nonprofit sector into my career. I have always had a passion for helping others whether it be philanthropically or simply through making connections and listening to other's needs. My sophomore year at Auburn I officially declared my minor in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies and it has taught me so much. I have learned on a deeper level how to be selfless, manage money, the ins and outs of a nonprofit, and witnessed how all these things are applied in a nonprofit. I am about to enter my final two semesters at Auburn and it truly is bittersweet. I look forward to applying my passions in the nonprofit field as well as everything I have learned in any way I can find. I would also like to expand my career opportunities even further by getting my Master’s Degree in Social Work. These two fields are my utmost passion and I believe I could be quite successful with them in my future.
